• Ensure the kitchen operates in a timely manner that meets quality standards.
• Oversee the preparation of dishes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed.
• Train staff on proper kitchen procedures and safety practices.
• Promote continuous learning and improvement among kitchen staff.
• Work closely with the Head Chef to plan and develop new dishes and menus.
• Exceptional culinary skills with a strong understanding of various cooking methods and techniques.
• Maintain kitchen records, including inventory, food costs, and staff schedules.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
